Keyed by the lovely Romy Souleimani from Beauty.com. We were showered with Kevyn Aucoin www.kevynaucoin.com/ products & Arcona Skincare http://www.arcona.com/. It was a super simple clean makeup, using the Kevyn Aucoin concealers, eyeshadow in 202 & 207. I discovered Coco Cafe latte http://drinkcococafe.com/at this show! OMG… delicious sponsors!
I had the pleasure of working on some guest judges and Isaac Mizrahi on season 2 thanks to friend & colleague Scott Patric (Key Make Up Artist). Pictured below are Gretchen Mole, Stacey Keibler, & Isaac Mizrahi who were wonderful to work!
The Beautiful & talented Gretchen Mole.
Stacey Keibler was a Doll! She was off to vacation with George Clooney after the show. Life doesn’t get better than that!
Thank you Tyler Williams account executive from creative media marketing www.cmmpr.com for sending over these wonderful products. They are just in time for Fashion Week so I can carry the La Roche- Posay dermo- cleanser in my kit for quick & gentle makeup removing. I’m loving the Vichy ProEVEN mineral BB cream and ProEven eyes. The great part is that you can pick them up in any nation wide Walgreens, Duane Reade, or CVS. The products are Made in France.
This photo shoot was so much fun because I was totally inspired by Amy Heidemann’s look. The lashes are by Benefit called Pin-Up Lash http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/product/view/pin-up-lash, Mauve creme shadow and a light fresh color lip. I love Karmin’s new song Brokenhearted!
First thing that happens when the Angels check in, is they receive their pink robes to wear backstage. In the hair and makeup area is where the transformations begin. Master of Make Up “Tom Pecheux” shows us how create the look with Victoria Secret products. Bregje Heinen is his model for the Demo. Black liner, Glitterati Bronzer, Starlet blush, Sublime lip gloss, & Stardust shadow were some of the must haves from the show. www.victoriassecret.com/beauty Flawless Airbrush Instant Bronze Body Spray was applied on the body with Rodin Olio Lusso to give that glistening shine.
I had the pleasure of working with Cameron Russell and Joan Smalls. We had many of the Latin interviewers by our side, since the 3 of us were fluent in Spanish.
Kanye West, Jay-Z, Marron 5 and Nicki Minaj were all part of the performance. It was a great being part of the show! This is why I really love my job!
Tom demonstrated the look on Bregje Heinen. We take photos to reference when doing the makeup.. Good Idea!
I found a peek of myself in Karlie Kloss’s video … Woo Hoo! Thanks Betsy Kelly for sending this to me
It was so Amazing to work on Tom Pecheux’s Team for the H&M Versace Show. It was a 3pm call time at the Chelsea Piers, November 9th. The look was bleached eyebrows with a strong dramatic black eye. It was highlighted with a silver shadow on the lid. Topped off with a clear gloss over the silver, right before they walked the runway. Contoured cheeks and a concealer on lips. To compliment the Rockstar Make Up, sleek straight waistline hair with black leather skullcaps.
Tom works on Daphne Groeneveld and demonstrates the look for the show.
I always use one eye when doing makeup. Kind of like looking through a lens.
There were about 37 Models so we had to work quickly on the detailed eyes. You had to be precise and quick!
It’s Showtime! Models walk the runway. We are on hand backstage touching up.
A Versace gift bag to top off the night!
Such a great season this year assisting some of the best Make Up Artists in the world!!! Keying the Derek Lam show was Tom Pecheux. Here are some pics from backstage. Very strong 70’s California influence. Make Up was bronze and glowing with strong eyebrows. New colors of yellow gold on the lid from Estee Lauder. Gold Lip gloss and bronze under the brow bone. Below is Tom’s Demo Make Up for the show. We had to duplicate the look on the models we worked on for the show.
Erjona Ala was one of the models I worked on for the show. I liked her a lot. She was very sweet! Shown Above
I also worked on Marique Schimmel, who was also a doll! I got lucky this year with beautiful faces and wonderful personalities. Doesn’t get better than that!
Models line up backstage. These are just for the looks that inspired me.
Ralph Lauren Spring 2012
I had the pleasure of working on Tom Pecheux’s make up team for the Ralph Lauren Spring 2012 collection. It was a dreamy pastel palette with emphasis on the cheeks and beautiful skin. Tom created the roaring twenties look with with sheer white eyeshadow, shades of pastel pink blush, and an Estee Lauder gold lip gloss called Citron Kiss. I had the pleasure of working on Frida Gustavsson & Melissa Tammerijn
This was one of the hottest days of the Summer on a rooftop in Brooklyn. Very long day but totally worth it!!!
Julie Taymore looked stunning on her opening for the Broadway Musical, Spider-Man. Julie has been a client of mine for many years. We worked on all her press for Across The Universe and the very controversial Spider-Man. In this photo her tan was enhanced with Estee Lauder Illuminating Powder Gelee Modern Mercury. I used Nars eyeshadow duo called Madrague. MAC powder blush Fleur and Fresh Sugarplum tinted lip treatment. Viola’ perfection!
